I was very excited during the week to stumble upon a google maps interactive tour of the Gombe national Park in Tanzania where Jane Goodall obtained the research she is most famous for.
It has some amazing features where you can follow a typical chimpanzee day and discover facts about them. It gives a great insight to their lives and while going through this I was stunned by the beautiful points of view. They also have other tours such as the Great Barrier Reef and the Galapagos islands which are both equally as fascinating.
You can find it here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/maps/about/behind-the-scenes/streetview/treks/gombe-tanzania/
Just an update: I have been selected for a scholarship to the YATZ program at Taronga Zoo. The program is focused on volunteering and conservation work. I am ecstatic at the opportunity. I will make sure to give updates on how the wildlife is going including the newborn baby gorilla. So exciting!
This blog is amazing. I heard that you're writing a book about primates, can't wait for it :)

Hey Annabel, I hear you're bringing home a chimp as a pet. That should be interesting!
