I was very excited during the week to stumble upon a google maps interactive tour of the Gombe national Park in Tanzania where Jane Goodall obtained the research she is most famous for.
Hey Leafists,
From Wednesday, 3 September some of the Leafist and Co team and I will be taking on the challenge of completing 10,000 steps a day, for the entire month of September to raise vital funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood. One in two people with cerebral palsy are in chronic pain due to the tightening of their muscles. And many will never be able to take a single step without assistance. The average office worker only takes around 3,000 steps per day, so 10,000 steps a day is going to be quite the challenge. If you’re not sure where to start, a donation of $55 could help to purchase a walker to enable a child with CP mobility and independence. There is so many great causes out there and this is one of them. You can donate to my fundraising page: (http://bit.ly/1puCqGy) Proctor and gamble have been accused by greenpeace of deforestation. The company which is a major seller of Toiletries and Housecare product own Head and Shoulders,Pantene, Oral and other toiletries companies.Proctor and Gamble have been cutting down rainforests for palm oil a popular ingrediant in many products.

To celebrate she will be going on a celebratory tour where she will be interviewed by a different journalist or television presenter. I was lucky enough to attend her Sydney show and I would like to say if you have to chance it would be a great idea to go. From what I saw she is really a very kind hearted and witty lady. Her stories are very interesting and inspire me personally or anyone around. If you get the chance grab a Jane Goodall merchandise which proceeds go to Jane goodall Institute.I was very unfortunate to be sick on the night but got to the theatre. I was pretty determined to get there. But it was a brilliant dhow and I would definitely recommend it.
